Sorry its been a while since I update the blog...

After like 3 months traveling around the States I came back home to Buenos Aires. Although I miss riding so much, its always good to see my family, friends and specially my two not so little dogs :).

BMX PUNTA ARENAS

PUNTA ARENAS is a small city in Magallanes, at south of Chile (South America, if you're still lost haha)
... Really at the south! :)

The weather its pretty cold all year although in summer is not that bad :)

Anyway, I'm still impress of how many riders there are! There are more than 10 girls riders and you all know that's a LOT, so imagine how many boys bmxers are!

I remember when I went in January of 2010, there were tons of riders but not really much where to ride at. This was the jumpbox they had, besides a couple other ghetto ramps.

They use to ride a lot of street as well, including one of the most important plaza in the city. As usual, people (not riders) didn't like that and they keep saying that those young kids where not doing anything but destroying a national building. We all know that nobody rides street to DESTOY something... If it happens its just cause its not build properly hahah. Anyway, they got all together and went to talk to the government that if people wanted them out there, they needed somewhere else to go and ride, meaning, they needed a bikepark... long story short, GEOPARK, an oil and gas company...yup, nothing to do with BMX, but they wanted to help the community, and that's what they did. They built some ramps and for the inauguration they did a BMX contest with riders from all over South America.

That's when the sport started to get bigger there, the people would know about the activity the kids where doing and they would support it, as well as the government building more parks.

After that, GEOPARK did two more contest, another one in Punta Arenas, and a third one in Puerto Natales (another city in Magallanes). Not only riders from South America participated but also Dennis Enarson , Nina Buitrago and Colin Mccay were part of it!!!

The union and hard work from all the Punta Arenas' riders has made all this possible, I really admire they're participation. This is what we need everywhere to keep make BMX alive!

Anyway, BMX keeps getting bigger as well as the contest. This next one is in October 29-30 in the new concrete park Punta Arenas has! Be part of it!!

From Autin I went to NY, meet Angie and drove to Camp Woodward :) It was so good to be back there, always riding a lot and seeing old and new friend :)

Hey!

Made it to Austin, Texas! I'm here with Becci at Nina Buitrago's House trying to get used to the heat :) . The best time for riding is in the morning like at 8am.. but its not that easy to wake up at that time haha we still did it tho :D. Later we usually go swimming somewhere and then at night we ride again.

There are tons of places to ride here. We've been riding the house park, that has a street part and a sweet bowl, and the T-1 ramps!! I cant believe I got to ride there, its amazing! :D

We have stil one more week here so we're gonna try to go to Dallas and/or Tyler as well :)

So thats pretty much what we've been doing :)

CALIFORNIA!

Hey!
After 2 weeks at home I decided to went overseas again, this time USA.
First stop was L.A., more specifically: X Games! I can't believe I made it there, even though we still don't have a girls class there, we (Angie, Jessica, Nina and Mini) did some clinics for the girls to learn how to ride and get into BMX. Also I got to see BMX park and street as well as some Moto X finals which was great!! :)

After that we started our girls road trip around California. Our first stop was the Nike 6.0 park and then we drove to Woodward West. Unfortunately the car broke 2 hours away from it. Natalie and Morgan Wade help us and we made it to Camp, were we still are till the car get fixed. Although the car thing its bad, I guess this is the best place to get stuck haha :)
So thats what we've been riding theses days! Learning new stuff, relearning old stuff and just having fun!!!
Yesterday we got to ride the Mega Ramp and I'm happy to say that after some bad attempts I cleared it!!! :D 50 feet long!

Also I wanna mention that I'll have my own part in the CHICK FLICK VIDEO!!! (all girls video coming soon!)

BMX MASTERS 2011

I'm on my way back home now and I just wanna say THANK YOU for every single person that made the whole trip such an amazing trip! I could start mentioning them all but I guess its just better say thakns for ALL! :D
The last days in Czech Republic were super fun! I got ro ride at Zdenda and Ondra's local park and there was also a Rock festival going on in Hradec so I saw Paramore, United Flavour, Pendulum, among other cool bands!
Then we pack everything...which was not easy at all considering i could almost built up a new bike with all the parts I changed these last weeks ... and considering I'm a girl and yeah.. I had way much more clothes than what I really needed lol. So anyway, we made it to Cologne for the BMX Masters!! The trip was like 8 hours driving but I guess I cant complain cause I almost slept it all haha :)
Masters was sick! Its always good to see everyone from everywhere! specially those who you don't get to see very often :)
The corse was super fun! And I dont know if you like it or not, but the fact that it was painted with colors made it even better hahah Its just happy to look at :)
I'm happy to say that I did almost everything I wanted at the finals and I got the first place :) following Mini with second and Angie with the third . Anyway, congrats to all the girls that rode!!!
Or course every good contest comes with a good party so yeah, it was definitely a good weekend :)

I want so say special thanks for Elisa that let me stay at her house, my parents for being able to be there supporting me even more! and all the 34R team!!!!! they are the best team ever! I couldn't be happier for being part of it. Im gonna miss you all!!!!

More Czech

To keep the routine of traveling, I took this time the train and head to Zlin, a city in Czech Republic in the border of Slovakia. The Camera-man is from there so we also did a lot of shooting there :)
I rode there 2 days and visited 5 parks! all of them quite different so riding was fun. The locals were also really nice (they even came to Hradec to ride with us the other day!) and the views were amazing, specially driving from one town to the other... just GREEN :) THANKS BOBRS!

Im really happy I didnt get lost and I went off the train when I had to :)

Czech Republic

Hey!! I'm still here in Czech Republic and this is getting better and better! We've been travelling a lot visiting different cities and of course different bikeparks :)
The names aren't easy to remember, but here are some pictures!
I also got to ride with some of the 34R team riders like Ondra Slez, Zdenda Pejda Pesek, Vilibald Vitek, and with the Poland riders from Ave Bmx :)

I almost died here, I rode the wallride more than i should have and almost missed the quarter haha

I only rode the street section of this park in Telc but we had lots of fun. As stupid as may sound, I'm finally doing manuals!!! hahaha Also it was my first day riding with new 34R frame and I'm really happy about how comfortable it is!

So.. Greenville was awesome, I would like to thanks once again Daniel D for letting me stay at his house and for being always a good friend :). Thanks to Angie and Peta for the good time riding and not riding and helping me with my english haha. Ryan Guettler for the edit and for being one of the best "coach" ! and everyone else who was there!!

Hope I go back soon!!!!

Right after North Carolina I flight straight to Puerto Natales, Chile, for the AUSTRAL BMX Contest. well.. it wasn't really straight, it was like 30 hours travelling visiting every single airport it was in the way hahaha. But I made it and stayed there for the weekend. It was really nice seeing my family and friends again! we had a good time there, a lot of food, party and good riding! The contest itself turned out very good, it even had a girls class with 10 girls in!
They also invited to the contest Nina Buitrago (it was really nice seeing you there!!!), Colin Mackay and Dennis Enarson, awesome riders!!!!
Im also happy to say that I got the first place in expert class :)

After Chile I did another non-straight flight to Montpellier, France, to the FISE. It was a 5 days contest that turned out to be almost only one day cause it rained like all week. We still had a good time riding when the course was dry and partying at night of course haha. Fortunately Sunday was a nice sunny day and all the finals went on :)

It makes me really happy to see that contests are starting to have a girls class in. Hope it keeps growing and growing! Thanks Precy for all the support!

Though my mom went to see me at FISE, we stayed in France for one more week to visit some other cities in France and also visit Monaco that was really near.
Thanks to Thomas for being our Tourist Guy in Nice and Monaco! :)

Then my mom went back home, and I came to Czech Republic, though its where 34R is from. Im staying with Kamil Feifer riding in the local parks and travelling to see this beatiful country :)

Bueno, despues de un largo viaje, mil escalas, recorrer todos los aeropuertos, casi perder las maletas como 3 veces, llegue a Greenville!!! jaja :)
El primer dia anduve en Animal House park (conocido como el park de Mirra) y el segundo en The Unit (el parque de Nyquist). La verdad que no hay palabras para describirlo.. ambos parks son increibles!!! La verdad es que estoy muy contenta de poder estar aca!! Anduve con Harry Main, Alex Coleborn, Ryan Guettler, Ryan Nyquist, Josh Harrington, James Foster, entre otros, y Ondra Slez, Daniel Peñafiel y Daniel Dhers, con los que me estoy quedando ! :)

Well, after a really long trip, thousand stops, running through all airports and almost loosing my bags like three times, i finally mad it to Greenville!!! :)
The first day we rode at the Animal House and the second one at the Unit. The parks are amazing, i just don't have any words to describe them! I'm so happy to be here! I rode with Harry Main, Alex Coleborn, Ryan Guettler, Ryan Nyquist, Josh Harrington, James Foster, between others, and Ondra Slez, Daniel Peñafiel y Daniel Dhers whom i'm staying with ! :)
I just can't ask for more!

Holaaaaa! Ya estoy a un dia de emprender mi viaje! Bueno, nací en PUNTA ARENAS, bien al sur de CHILE, pero actualmente estoy viviendo en BUENOS AIRES, capital de ARGENTINA.
Aprendi a andar en bici a los 3 años, pero desde los 12 que hago BMX FREESTYLE :)
Desde los 4 que ando en moto, pero a los 16 empece a hacer MOTOCROSS :)
Nací el 14 de Septiembre de 1989 asi que si quieres saber cuantos años tengo, haz la cuenta :)

Well, I was born in PUNTA ARENAS, at the south of CHILE, but I'm actually living in BUENOS AIRES, capital of ARGENTINA.
I learned how to ride bikes when I was 3 years old, but I started doing BMX FREESTYLE at the age of 12.
I ride motorcycles since I was 4, but I do MOTOCROSS since i was 16.
I was born in September 14th of 1989 so if you wanna know how old I am calculate! :)
